West Houston Medical Center is currently looking for a Receptionist-Radiology

POSITION SUMMARY

 
Under the direction of the Radiology Office Supervisor, the Manager of Medical Imaging, the Director of Medical Imaging, and the staff radiologists, the Receptionist is responsible to receive patients, handle and/or direct imaging department communications, input and retrieve patient computer data, receive and process exam orders, create, process, and file film jackets. Sort, distribute and file medical imaging reports. Acquire and return imaging films stored off-site. Process assorted procedure related paperwork. Perform all tasks within the policies and procedures of the Medical Imaging Department, and policies and procedures of the hospital.
  

Job Requirements/Qualification:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Cheerful positive personality, clear voice, and good communication skills.                    
  • Keyboard typing skill.
  • Ability to perform office tasks while working under a high degree of work related stress on a daily basis.
  • Ability to complete multi-tasks in the midst of constant interruptions without anger or errors.
