Opportunity 
We are looking for a highly motivated, friendly, organized individual for a full-time Office Coordinator position at a beautiful dental practice located in Dallas, Texas. 

The Office Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the success of an Apex-affiliated office. They ensure that fundamental systems and protocols are in place within the practice, allowing the doctors and clinical staff to focus on dentistry. The OC forms a tight alliance with the doctors as the business leader of the practice. They’re supported by the Apex Support Center team who ensures that the OC is set up for success every day by handling needs like HR, marketing, IT, accounting, and other back-office functions, as well as ongoing training, practice, and staff development programs. 

They are responsible for the daily operations of the dental office including: 

  • Managing patient relations and achieving operational goals.
  • Leading by example, building a positive environment for staff and patients through a continual focus on building quality relationships.
  • Successfully leading the front office staff in managing schedules to meet dentistry goals.
  • Maintaining the office budget to achieve profitability.

In addition to the above, an Apex OC will:

  • Ask how things can be done better.
  • Define and share a vision for what success looks like for their office.
  • Work with Apex advisors and mentors to continually improve both themselves and the company.
  • Monitor practice vital signs and expenses regularly.

Job Requirements/Qualification:

The ideal candidate will be a leader, well organized, detail oriented, and a good communicator with great relationship skills. 

  • 3+ years experience in a dental office, leadership role preferred
  • Experience in a group practice setting is a plus
  • Superior written and communication skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions, exceed goals, and maximize opportunities
  • Experience with Dentrix and Microsoft Office
  • Goal oriented, self-starter, problem solver
